 Pillars of Sol 

I’ve seen a world in stars and paint

Of things unseen, too far, too faint

For those whose eyes need what is real

And cannot see what they cannot feel

But some perceive a world unknown

Where stars exist, but not alone

Strange spirits dwell behind the stone

Designed by man, with thoughts unclear

Not knowing that his futures near

Tied to god’s that hold on strong

Can’t admit he could be wrong

The world is not as he believes

The world is what the artist sees

Look in the painting and see the sky

The reality of the artist’s eye…
